Build a workout plan you can actually follow.

Choose your goal, equipment, experience, training days, and session length. This free workout plan generator turns those constraints into a complete week with exercises, sets, reps, rest, and a simple progression rule.

Build your week

Pick the version of your week you can repeat consistently—not your perfect week.

Your goal changes rep ranges, rest, and progression guidance.
Shorter sessions use fewer movements so the plan stays realistic.
Your weekly plan will appear here.

Use the builder to get a complete training week—not just a list of random exercises.

What this generator does: it uses transparent training rules to turn your answers into a starter program. It is intentionally rules-based, not a hidden “AI” prompt. IZEM’s AI workout generator is the adaptive version designed to change the plan over time using your actual workouts, schedule, recovery, and feedback.

How the free workout plan generator works

A useful plan needs more than an exercise list. The generator first chooses a weekly split that fits the number of days you selected, then fills each session with movement patterns that match your equipment. Your goal and experience change the working sets, rep range, rest guidance, and progression rule.

Your inputWhat changes in the plan
Training daysThe weekly split: full-body, upper/lower, or push/pull/legs-style structure.
EquipmentThe exercise choices. Bodyweight plans do not assume barbells or machines.
Session lengthHow many movements appear in each workout.
Main goalRep ranges, rest guidance, and how you progress.
ExperienceWorking-set volume and exercise complexity.

How to use the generated plan

  1. Start easier than your maximum. Leave roughly 2–3 good reps in reserve on most working sets while you learn the plan.
  2. Keep the same core movements long enough to measure progress. Constantly changing exercises makes it harder to tell whether you are improving.
  3. Progress only when the current prescription is controlled. Reach the top of the rep range with solid technique before adding a small amount of load or a harder variation.
  4. Adjust the plan when real life changes. If your equipment, schedule, recovery, or goal changes, rebuild the week instead of forcing an outdated plan.

Free generator vs. an adaptive AI workout coach

This page solves the first job: creating a sensible weekly structure from the constraints you know today. It does not watch what actually happened in your workouts. That distinction matters.

An adaptive coach can use completed sessions, missed workouts, exercise swaps, recovery feedback, schedule changes, and progress to decide what the next week should look like. If that is the job you need, see how IZEM’s adaptive workout planning works.
